Lukino ( Russian Лукино , German Kloschenen ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad ( Koenigsberg area (Prussia) ) and belongs to the Pravdinskoje gorodsnoje posselenije - municipality of Prawdinsk, Friedland, (Eastern Pr.) - in Pravdinsk district ( Friedland district ).

Geographical location

Lukino on the east bank of the Alley (Russian: Lawa) is two kilometers north of Prawdinsk and can be reached via a dead end road directly from the Rajons capital. There is no rail connection.

history

On June 11, 1874, the village, once called Kloschenen , was one of six communal units that formed the newly established district of Allenau (Russian: Poretschje). Until 1927 it belonged to the district of Friedland , then to the district of Bartenstein (Ostpr.) In the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 the Kloschenen manor had 177 inhabitants.

On July 1, 1912, the village of Gut Finkenhof in the Kloschenen manor district was reclassified to the rural community of Klein Schönau (Russian: Oktjabrskoje) in the Dietrichswalde (Polessje) district, and a short time later another part of Kloschenen came to the rural community of Allenau (Poretschje). On November 1st, 1928 Kloschenen finally lost its independence and was incorporated into the municipality of Friedland (Prawdinsk).

In 1945 Kloschenen came to the Soviet Union within northern East Prussia and was given the Russian name Lukino in 1947. Until 2009 the place was incorporated into the Poretschenski soviet (Dorfsovjet Poretschje (Allenau) ) and since then - as a place within the since 1991/92 Russian Oblast Kaliningrad - due to a structural and administrative reform as a "settlement" (Russian: possjolok ) classified locality within the Pravdinskoje gorodsnoje posselenije - municipality of Pravdinsk (Friedland, Ostpr.) - in Pravdinsk district .

Before 1945 the population of Kloschenen was predominantly of Protestant denomination. The place was parish in the parish Allenau (Russian: Poretschje) in the church district Friedland (Russian: Prawdinsk ), later in the church district Bartenstein (today Polish: Bartoszyce), within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today Lukino is in the ecclesiastical catchment area of ​​Prawdinsk, whose Protestant parish is now a branch parish of the Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) . It is incorporated into the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
