Ryabinino ( Russian Рябинино , German Korwlack ) is a small town in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad ( Koenigsberg area (Prussia) ) and belongs to the Pravdinskoje gorodskoje posselenije (municipality Prawdinsk (Friedland (Ostpr.)) ) In Pravdinsk district ( Friedland district ).

Geographical location

Ryabinino is located 19 kilometers northeast of the former district town of Bartenstein (today in Polish: Bartoszyce) and 9 kilometers south of the current Rajon capital Prawdinsk (Friedland), only 1 kilometer from the Russian-Polish border. An impassable side street leads into the village from Prawdinsk via Tjomkino (Mertensdorf) , which before 1945 continued into Ostre Bardo (Klingenberg) , which is now in Poland . There is no train connection. To the east of the village is the Reihersee an der Lawa (Alle) .

history

On June 11, 1874, Korwlack , which had around 100 inhabitants at the time, belonged to the two rural communities and two manor districts that formed the newly established district of Klingenberg (now in Polish: Ostre Bardo), which was part of the Friedland district (from 1927 Bartenstein district (Ostpr.) ) in the administrative district of Königsberg belonged to the Prussian province of East Prussia . Korwlack maintained its independence as an independent municipality until September 30, 1928, when it merged with the Korwlack manor district and the Pohiebels manor district (which no longer exist today) to form the new rural community of Pohiebels. On October 1, 1939, the resulting community of Pohiebels was incorporated into the community of Klingenberg (Ostre Bardo).

As a result of the Second World War , Korwlack came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia and in 1947 received the Russian place name " Rjabinino ". Until 2009 the place was incorporated into the Domnowski Soviet (Dorfsovjet Domnowo (Domnau) ) within the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad since 1991/92 and then came - due to a structural and administrative reform - as a "settlement" (Russian: possjolok) classified place to Pravdinskoje gorordskoje posselenije (municipality of Pravdinsk (Friedland) ) in Pravdinsk district .

church

With its almost exclusively Protestant population, Korwlack was parish into the parish of Klingenberg (today in Polish: Ostre Bardo) before 1945 . Klingenberg formed a common parish with Deutsch Wilten (today Russian: Jermakowo) and Georgenau (Roschtschino) , which belonged to the Friedland church district (from 1927 Bartenstein church district ; today in Polish: Bartoszyce) within the church province of East Prussia of the church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today, Ryabinino is located in the catchment area of the Evangelical parish in Prawdinsk (Friedland) , which is a subsidiary of the Resurrection Church in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) and is assigned to the Kaliningrad provost in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
