Dalneje ( Russian Дальнее , German Wommen ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad ( Koenigsberg region (Prussia) ). It is located in the Pravdinsk district ( Friedland district (Eastern Pr.) ) And belongs to the Pravdinskoje gorodskoje posselenije (Pravdinsk municipality ( Friedland) ).

Geographical location

Dalneje is located seven kilometers northeast of today's Rajons capital and former district town Pravdinsk (Friedland) on a side road that branches off the Russian highway R 512 at Kisseljowka (Karschau) and leads to Cholmogorje (Kipitten) . Until 1945, Karschau, two kilometers away, was the next station on the small railway line from Tapiau (Russian: Gwardeisk) to Friedland (Prawdinsk) , which was operated by the Wehlau – Friedlander Kreisbahnen .

history

Gutsdorf, once called Wommen , belonged in 1874 to the communities that formed the newly established Karschau district (Russian: Kisseljowka). It belonged to 1927 the county Friedland, then to district Bartenstein (Ostpr.) In the administrative district of Konigsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia .

In 1910 Wommen had 69 inhabitants. On September 30, 1928, Wommen gave up his independence and was incorporated into the newly formed rural community Kipitten (Russian: Cholmogorje).

In 1945 Wommen came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia and in 1947 was given the name "Dalneje". Until 2009, the place was incorporated into the Poretschenski soviet (Dorfsovjet Poretschje (Allenau) ). Since then, due to structural and administrative reform, the place has been classified as a "settlement" (Russian: possjolok) within the Pravdinskoje gorodskoje posselenije (municipality of Pravdinsk (Friedland) ) in Pravdinsk district .
