Lupara is an Italian commune ( comune ) in the Molise region and the Campobasso province . The municipality is located in the Apennines about 23 kilometers north-northeast of Campobasso and has 451 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The Biferno forms the southeastern border of the municipality. After an earthquake in 2002, the community was rebuilt.
