Salcito is an Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Campobasso in Molise and has 641 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The municipality is located about 24.5 kilometers north-northwest of Campobasso and borders directly on the provinces of Chieti ( Abruzzo ) and Isernia . The Trigno limits the municipality in the northeast.
