Castelmauro is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 1384 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Campobasso in Molise . The municipality is located about 29.5 kilometers north-northeast of Campobasso . Until 1885 the community was still called Castelluccio Acquaborrana .
