Macchia Valfortore is an Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Campobasso in Molise and has 515 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The municipality is located about 20.5 kilometers east-northeast of Campobasso on Lake Occhito , belongs to the Comunità Montana del Fortore Molisano and borders directly on the province of Foggia ( Apulia ).
