Betsson.com managed with 11 players, the second team of the Barbican Chess Club had most of the players play at least one competition, namely 20. A total of 168 players were used, 20 of whom took part in all competitions.
The best individual result was achieved by Daniel King (Guildford A&DC) with 9.5 points from 10 games, half a point less (from 11 games played) was achieved by Simon Ansell (Betsson.com). Ansell's team-mate Adam Hunt achieved 8.5 points from 11 games . With Éric Prié , Emil Sutovsky (both Guildford A&DC), Alexandre Dgebuadze , John Joseph Carleton (both Micro Mark NWE), Ian Rogers , Carey Wilman (both The ADs), Paul Johnstone (Richmond), Robyn Smith (Numerica 3Cs), Simen Agdestein , Tiger Hillarp Persson , Einar Gausel (all Wood Green) and Chris Duncan (Betsson.com) achieved 100% for 12 players, with Prié and Dgebuadze playing 3 games, Rogers and Wilman 2 each and the other players named one each. Wilman and Smith won their games without a fight.
The season's oldest players were Michael Franklin (Richmond), born in 1931, and John Eric Littlewood (Micro Mark NWE), and the youngest player again was David Howell (* 1990), who played for Slough .
