The 9th Inter-Cities Fairs Cup was in the season 1966 / 67 played. Dinamo Zagreb won the two-legged final against Leeds United . From this season onwards there were no more playoffs, in the event of a draw on the two legs the away goals rule was applied or, if there was no winner after extra time, a decision was made by tossing a coin . The top scorer was Flórián Albert from Ferencváros Budapest with eight goals.
