Minskoje ( Russian Минское , German Groß Pelledauen , 1938-1946 Jungferngrund ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad ( Koenigsberg area (Prussia) ). It is located in Osjorsk Rajon ( Darkehmen district , 1938–1946 Angerapp ) and belongs to the Krasnoyarskoje selskoje posselenije (rural community Krasnoyarskoje ( Sodehnen )).

Geographical location

Minskoye is located on the eastern bank of the Angerapp (Russian: Angrapa) southeast of the district capital Osjorsk ( Darkehmen , 1938–1946 Angerapp ). An impassable road leads into the place, for which there is no train connection.

history

In 1818 a total of 62 inhabitants lived in the former Groß Pelledauen. Their number rose to 104 by 1863. On May 6, 1874, the village belonged to the 13 rural communities or manor districts that formed the newly established administrative district Weedern (since 1946: Suworowka). He was in the district of Darkehmen (1939-1945 district of Angerapp ) in the administrative district of Gumbinnen in the Prussian province of East Prussia .

In 1907 Groß Pelledauen had 90 inhabitants, in 1925 there were 104, in 1933 65 and 1939 67. On June 3, 1938 - with official confirmation from July 16, 1938 - Groß Pelledauen was renamed for political and ideological reasons and received the Name "Jungferngrund".

However, this naming should not be valid for long. When the village came to the Soviet Union as a result of the Second World War, like all of northern East Prussia, the Soviet Union changed its name to " Minskoye " in 1946 . Until 2009 the place was incorporated into the Lvovsky soviet (Dorfsovjet Lwowoskoje ( Gudwallen )), since then - due to a structural and administrative reform of the now Russian Oblast Kaliningrad - a "settlement" (possjolok) within the Krasnoyarskoye selskoje posselenije (rural municipality Krasnoyarskoe ( Tendons )) in Osjorsk Raion .

church

Until 1945, the predominantly Protestant population of Groß Pelledauen / Jungferngrund belonged to the Darkehmen parish (1938–1946 Angerapp , since 1946: Osjorsk) in the Darkehmen parish in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The last two German clergy were Pastors Johannes Gemmel and Helmut Passauer .

Church activities were prohibited during the Soviet era . It was not until the 1990s that new Protestant congregations formed in the Kaliningrad Oblast. Minskoye is located in the area of the parish of the Salzburg Church in Gussew ( Gumbinnen ), which belongs to the also newly established Kaliningrad provost in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
