The AMD Mobile Duron is a notebook processor similar to the Athlon XP-M . It is essentially based on the K7 design of the Athlon , but like the Duron only has 64 KiB L2 cache. To do this, it has the PowerNow! that makes it suitable for mobile use. The older models do not yet have the power-saving functions, which made them not particularly attractive for notebooks.
