The AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core Processor for Notebook PCs is a notebook processor . This processor, which was only on the market for a short time, was quickly replaced by the AMD Athlon II .

Technical

Just like its "big brother" AMD Turion X2, the processor is largely based on the K8 architecture, but has adopted some of the K10 architecture in the Uncore area, so it has some innovations from the K10 such as the faster HT Link and also some power-saving functions, which are a little less pronounced compared to Turion. In addition, the processor has a smaller L2 cache and lower clock rates than the Turion X2. In this respect, it has little in common with its namesake for the desktop area.
