NGC 5411 is a 13.4 likes bright lenticular galaxy with an active galactic nucleus from Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Bootes the northern sky . It is an estimated 260 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light-years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 5416 , NGC 5423 , NGC 5424 , NGC 5431 .
The object was discovered on April 15, 1883 by Ernst Wilhelm Leberecht Tempel .
