NGC 6213 is a 14.8 mag bright spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is an estimated 249 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6206 and NGC 6211 .
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on June 25, 1887 .
