NGC 6213 is a 14.8 mag bright spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is an estimated 249 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6206 and NGC 6211 .

The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on June 25, 1887 .
