Nisshin ( Japanese 日 進 市 , - shi ), also Nissin , is a city in Aichi Prefecture on Honshū , the main island of Japan .

history

On May 10, 1906, the Mura Hakusan ( 白 山村 , -mura ), Iwasaki ( 岩崎 村 , -mura ) and Kaguyama ( 香 久 山村 , -mura ) merged in the Aichi-gun to form Mura Nisshin ( 日 進村 , -mura ) . On January 1, 1958, he was appointed Chō Nisshin ( 日 進 町 , -chō ) and on October 1, 1994 to Shi.
