Noebeba is an Indonesian district ( Kecamatan ) in the west of the island of Timor .

The district is located in the southwest of the administrative district of South Central Timor (Timor Tengah Selatan) of the East Nusa Tenggara Province (Nusa Tenggara Timur) . In the southwest is the district of South Amanuban (Amanuban Selatan) , in the north of North Amanuban (Amanuban Utara) , in the northeast of Kuatnana and in the east of Kuan Fatu .
Noebeba has an area of 186.02 km² and is divided into the seven Desa Oeekam , Teas , Oepliki , Naip , Fatunana , Oebaki , Eno Nabuasa . The Desa are again divided into a total of 21 Dusun (sub-villages). The administrative headquarters are located in Oeauba in Desa Oepliki. While the village of Oetnana (Desa Oeekam) is at 222 m , Kobebil (Desa Eno Nabuasa) is at an altitude of 710 m above sea level. As in Timor, the tropical climate is divided into a rainy and a dry season . From July to October there is drought. Most of the rain falls in January. In 2017, 21 rainy days and a total rainfall of 842 millimeters were registered.

Residents
In 2017 there were 11,775 inhabitants in Noebeba. 5,963 were men, 5,812 women. The population density was 63.29 people per square kilometer. There were eight Catholic and 54 Protestant churches and chapels in the district.
Economy, infrastructure and transport
Most of the district's residents make a living from agriculture. Cattle (5,771), horses (ten), buffaloes (four), pigs (5,932), goats (1,606) and chickens (17,589) are kept as pets. Corn is grown on 1,170 hectares, rice on 25 hectares, manioc on 587 hectares and peanuts on one hectare. Other agricultural products include onions, Indian mustard, chilli, tomatoes, spinach, avocados, mangoes, tangerines, papayas and bananas. Cashew nuts, coffee, pecans, cloves, areca nuts, betel nuts and kapok come from plantations .
There are 17 elementary schools and five middle schools in Noebeba. There is no secondary school in the district. A municipal health center ( Puskesmas ) and two medical care centers ( Puskesmas Pembantu ) are available for medical care . One doctor, ten midwives and seven nurses are resident in the district.
