OSCAR 52 (also VUSat-OSCAR 52 ) is an Indian amateur radio satellite .

The satellite has a 50 kHz wide linear transponder which was built by a Dutch radio amateur. OSCAR 52 was launched into LEO orbit on May 5, 2005 with a PSLV rocket in the Satish Dhawan Space Center .

Its COSPAR designation is 2005-017B. OSCAR 52 was active from 2005 to July 2014, on July 21, 2014 it was finally given up.
