UoSAT 4 (also UoSAT-OSCAR 15 ) is a British amateur radio satellite .

It was built at the University of Surrey and launched on January 22, 1990 as a secondary payload together with the French earth observation satellite Spot 2 with an Ariane 40 rocket at the Guiana Space Center (ramp ELA-2 ) into a low earth orbit .

The satellite was used for packet radio , but went out of service after two days.
