Pehuensat-1 (also OSCAR 63 or PO-63 ) is an Argentine amateur radio satellite .

The satellite was launched on January 10, 2007 by an Indian PSLV rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Center . He makes voice broadcasts in Spanish , Hindi and English on the 2 meter tape .

The name is based on the Mapuche name of the Chilean araucaria ( Pehuén in Spanish ). Its COSPAR designation is 2007-001D.
