DSLWP-A , Longjiang-1 , LO-93 or Lunar OSCAR 93 is a Chinese research satellite and amateur radio satellite . It was designed and built by Harbin Polytechnic University (HIT).
Mission history
The satellite was on May 20, 2018 at 21:25 UTC with a Long March-4C rocket along with the main payload Queqiao ( Chang'e-4 Relay, Relay CE 4) and its twin satellite DSLWP-B from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center started in China. As such, on May 21, 2018, DSLWP-A would have had to perform a complex braking maneuver by repeatedly igniting its hydrazine monofuel engines, five minutes before reaching the point where it had to enter lunar orbit . This failed, the satellite flew past the moon and presumably remains in its highly elliptical earth-moon transfer orbit .
