Location of Obere Glaschleife in Bavaria

Obere Glasschleife is a district of the city of Roth in the Middle Franconian district of Roth in Bavaria .

Geographical location

Immediately north of the village flows the Brunnbach , a right tributary of the Rednitz , directly to the east of the village is the Schleifweiher. The forest area "Vorbild" borders in the north. A communal road leads to Roth to State Road 2409 (1.2 km southwest) or to Meckenlohe (2.6 km northeast). Another communal road leads to Pfaffenhofen to Stnbsp; 2409 (1.8 km northwest).

history

Towards the end of the 18th century, Obere Glaschleife belonged to Roth. There was an estate. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Roth . The property was owned by the Roth municipal judge as the landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, Obere Glasschleife was given house number 195 in Roth.

As part of the community edict, Obere Glasschleife was assigned to the Roth tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the Roth municipality, founded in 1811 .
