history

In the land register for the Burggräfliche Amt Roth, which was set up around 1360, the place was first mentioned as "Kyliansdorf". The place was probably named after the founder of the place named Kilian . At that time the office was only entitled to 3 Reutäcker. In the land register of the now margravial office of Roth, which was established in 1434, these were only 2 Reutäcker. In the 16-point report from 1608, 11 properties are listed for the place: 3 courtyards and 1 estate were subordinate to the Nuremberg Clarissian Monastery , 1 courtyard and 1 estate were owned by the Nuremberg Order of the Teutonic Order , 2 courtyards were owned by the Nuremberg owners von Schenk and von Tucher , and 1 courtyard was part of the state charity office , 1 courtyard of the church in Roth. Only the shepherd's house was under the Roth caste office .

During the Thirty Years War the place became deserted. In the years 1651–1565, 17 people died of the plague .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 10 properties and a community shepherd's house in Kiliansdorf. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Roth . The village and township government had the box office Roth held. The landlords were the Teutonic Order Coming Nuremberg (1 Ganzhof, 1 Gütlein), the Imperial City of Nuremberg ( St. Klara Monastery Office : 1 Ganzhof, 1 Ganzhof with inn, 1 Halbhof, 1 Gütlein with inn; State Almosenamt: 1 Ganzhof), Nuremberg owners ( Kreß von Kressenstein : 1 Ganzhof; von Scheuerl : 1 Ganzhof) and the Kastenamt Roth (1 Ganzhof).

As part of the municipal edict, Kiliansdorf was assigned to the Belmbrach tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Belmbrach, founded in 1811 .

On July 1, 1971, the place was incorporated into Roth as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

Bavarian “Kini” = king). However, all written evidence speaks against this: "Kilgensdorf" (1397), "Kilgersdorf" (1414), "Killiensdorf" (1445), "Killingsdorf" (1480)
