history
The place was first mentioned in 1504 as "Prucklaßmul". The mill was named after the nearby bridge over which a traffic route from Roth to Hilpoltstein led. Half of the mill belonged to the Nuremberg citizen Chunrad Halbwachs, the other half to the Eichstätt Monastery . In 1465 Halbwachs sold his half to the Eichstätt Monastery. In the period that followed, a miller bought this fief together with the validity and bailiwick. However, he placed himself under the private protection of the Kastner and judge von Roth. Around 1700 disputes arose between Eichstätt and the Oberamt Roth over this purchase of inheritance rights . Later, the miller Georg Fiegl invoked the parish, hat and wood purchase rights to which he was entitled to the disadvantage of Eckersmühlen, which was subordinate to the Teutonic Order and to which Brückleinsmühlen belonged. He was supported by the Oberamt Roth. In 1731 there was even armed conflict, which was followed by a legal battle that lasted over thirty years.
Towards the end of the 18th century, the Brückleinsmühle belonged to Eckersmühlen . There was an estate. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Roth . The Roth Kastenamt was the landlord of the grinding mill . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Brückleinsmühle was given house numbers 51 and 52 in the village of Eckersmühlen.
As part of the community edict, Brückleinsmühle was assigned to the Eckersmühlen tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Eckersmühlen , which was founded in 1811 .
In 1885 the property was acquired by foreman Karl Grimm and the spinning mill owner Johann Wolkersdorfer. In 1889 the mill burned down completely. In 1890 it was rebuilt under Konrad Grimm and in 1893 a steam engine was added because the water power alone was no longer sufficient to run the workshop.
On May 1, 1978, Brückleinsmühle was incorporated into Roth in the course of the municipal reform.
