The men's 800-meter run at the 2019 Pan American Games took place on August 9th and 10th at the Villa Deportiva Nacional in the Peruvian capital Lima .

13 runners from ten countries competed in the races. Marco Arop won the gold medal after 1: 44.25 minutes, which was also a new record for the Pan American Games. Silver went to Wesley Vázquez with 1: 44.48 min and Ryan Sánchez won the bronze medal with 1: 45.19 min.
