Jessica O'Connell (2016) won the silver medal

The women's 5,000-meter run at the 2019 Pan American Games took place on August 9 at the Villa Deportiva Nacional in the Peruvian capital, Lima .

Eleven runners from seven countries took part in the run. The gold medal was won by Laura Galván after 15: 35.47 min, silver went to Jessica O'Connell with 15: 36.08 min and the bronze medal was won by Kimberley Conley with 15: 36.95 min.
