Petar Datschew ( Bulgarian Петър Дачев , English transcription Petar Dachev ; born June 15, 1979 in Trojan ) is a former Bulgarian long jumper .

In 1998 he became Junior World Champion and won bronze at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest . In 2000 he won the European Indoor Championships in Ghent and finished eleventh at the Olympic Games in Sydney .

In 2002 he won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in Vienna , but was eliminated from the European Championships in Munich without a valid attempt. The following year he was sixth at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham . At the World Championships in 2003 in Paris / Saint-Denis and at the Olympic Games in Athens , he was eliminated from the qualification.

In 2000, 2002 and 2003 he was national outdoor champion, 1998, 2001-2003 and 2006 indoor.
