Jan Leitner
Jan Leitner (born September 14, 1953 in Znojmo ) is a former Czechoslovak long jumper .
At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, he was eliminated from the qualification. Two years later he won bronze at the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1982 , and tenth at the 1983 World Athletics Championships in Helsinki.
In 1984 he won the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg and in 1985 the World Indoor Athletics Games in Paris . 1986 followed a bronze medal at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid .
He was national champion ten times outdoors (1975–1982, 1984, 1985) and five times indoors (1979, 1981, 1982, 1985, 1986).
