Peter Eriksson (born August 3, 1958 in Tranås ) is a Swedish politician of the Miljöpartiet .

Life

Eriksson studied economics and politics. From 2002 to 2011 he was spokesman for the Swedish Greens together with Maria Wetterstrand . Eriksson lives in Kalix , Norrbotten , where he was a member of the city council from 1999 to 2004. From 1994 to 1998 Eriksson was a member of the Reichstag , which he was a member again from 2002 to 2014. In the European elections in 2014 , he was the European Parliament voted. From May 2016 he was Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Digitization in the Löfven I government . After the 2018 Reichstag election , he became Minister for International Cooperation in the Löfven II government .
