Incidents
- November 2007: Emergency landing of an MD 900 (registration D-HPNB , call sign Phoenix 92 ) of the Lower Saxony police at Hannover-Langenhagen airport on the return flight from an operation. The cause of the accident with three slightly injured people was a technical defect in the NOTAR system. The machine was totaled.
- January 2010: Crash of an MD 902 (registration D-HPND , callsign Phoenix 94 ) of the Lower Saxony police on a snow-covered field near Elze (Wedemark) during a training flight. The cause of the accident with three slightly injured people was a pilot error, presumably due to “diffuse lighting conditions” ( whiteout ). The machine was totaled.
- March 2013: Aircraft accident at the Berlin Olympic Stadium
- February 2016: Crash of an EC 135 T2 + (registration D-HVBB ) of the Federal Police in Bimöhlen , near the Federal Police Heliport Fuhlendorf, during a night vision training flight. In the accident, the pilot and the system operator were fatally and the copilot was seriously injured, and the machine was totaled.
