The Offenburg Police Headquarters, based in Offenburg, is the regional police headquarters of the Baden-Württemberg Police responsible for the Baden-Baden district , the Ortenau district and the Rastatt district . The office was created as part of the structural reform of the police in Baden-Württemberg by merging the previous police departments of Offenburg and Rastatt / Baden-Baden into one police headquarters on January 1, 2014.

The area of responsibility covers an area of 2730 km² with approx. 700,000 inhabitants.
Like all police headquarters in Baden-Württemberg, the Offenburg Police Headquarters are divided into the Police Station , Criminal Police Directorate and Traffic Police Directorate . The management area consists of the police chief, the public relations , strategic controlling and quality management units as well as the management and operations staff, the crime prevention department and administration. The police headquarters has a staff of almost 1,600 employees.
Police Station Directorate
9 police stations (PRev) and 21 police posts (Pp) are subordinate to the police station directorate at the Offenburg police headquarters. In detail these are:
- Police station Achern with the two police posts in Oberkirch (Baden) and Oppenau
- Police station Baden-Baden with the two police stations Baden-Baden-Mitte and Baden-Baden-Oos
- Police station Bühl with the three police stations Bühlertal , Rheinmünster Airport and Lichtenau
- Police station Gaggenau with the two police stations Gernsbach and Kuppenheim
- Haslach police station in the Kinzigtal with the two police stations in Wolfach and Zell am Harmersbach
- Kehl police station with two police stations in Appenweier and Rheinau
- Lahr police station with the three police stations Ettenheim , Rust (since 2018) and Schwanau
- Offenburg police station with the three police stations in Gengenbach , Hohberg and Neuried
- Rastatt police station with two police stations in Bietigheim and Iffezheim
The management group, the police dog handler unit and the business and environment unit are also subordinate.
Criminal Police Directorate
The criminal police department (KPDir) is also based in Offenburg. Eight task-oriented criminal inspections (K) and a criminal commissioner (KK) have been set up within KPDir.
