The Tuttlingen Police Headquarters, based in Tuttlingen, is the regional police headquarters of the Baden-Württemberg Police responsible for the Freudenstadt district , the Rottweil district , the Schwarzwald-Baar district , the Tuttlingen district and the Zollernalb district . The office was created as part of the structural reform of the police in Baden-Württemberg by merging the previous police departments of Balingen , Freudenstadt , Rottweil , Tuttlingen and Villingen-Schwenningen into one police headquarters on January 1, 2014.

On December 31, 2019, the Tuttlingen Police Headquarters will be dissolved as part of the correction of the police reform. The Freudenstadt district will be assigned to the Pforzheim Police Headquarters , which was newly established on January 1, 2020 , while the Rottweil , Tuttlingen and Schwarzwald-Baar districts were assigned to the reformed Constance Police Headquarters . The Zollernalb district is assigned to the Reutlingen Police Headquarters .

The police headquarters in Tuttlingen, like all police headquarters in Baden-Württemberg, is divided into the police stations , criminal police and traffic police directorates . The police headquarters has a staff of 1,500.
