Quail Ridge is about 30 km west of Dade City and 40 km north of Tampa . The CDP is affected by Florida State Road 52 .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 1040 inhabitants were distributed over 492 households. 84.8% of the population identified themselves as white, 8.3% as African-American , 0.3% as Native American and 1.1% as Asian Americans . 2.0% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 3.6% to several ethnic groups. 14.5% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 36.2% of all households and persons aged 65 and over lived in 16.5% of all households. 74.7% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.69 people and the average family size was 3.08 people.
