Bayonet Point is a census-designated place in Pasco County in the US state of Florida with 23,467 inhabitants (as of 2010).
geography
Bayonet Point is about 45 km west of Dade City and about 60 km northwest of Tampa . The CDP is crossed by US Highway 19 and Florida State Road 52 .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the 23,467 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 13,091 households. The population density was 1618.4 inh / km². 92.3% of the population identified themselves as whites, 1.9% as African American , 0.3% as Indians and 1.2% as Asian Americans . 2.0% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.3% to several ethnic groups. 9.0% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
In 2010, children under the age of 18 and 48.3% of all households lived in 22.5% of all households with persons at least 65 years of age. 57.9% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). Parks and sports facilities
There is a small range of different city parks as well as several sporting facilities, as well as playgrounds and opportunities for camping and barbecuing. In terms of sports there is everything that can be done on the beach.
