Meadow Oaks is about 25 miles west of Dade City and about 50 miles north of Tampa .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 2442 inhabitants at that time were distributed among 1238 households. 95.2% of the population identified themselves as whites, 1.4% as African American , 0.2% as Indians and 1.1% as Asian Americans . 0.7% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.4% to several ethnic groups. 6.1% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
