coat of arms
Blazon : “Standing opposite each other in silver and armoring a red fox with gold claws and a talking black wolf with red claws. In addition to an inverted tip, a golden ear of wheat is arranged on the left and right in the red shield base. "
The coat of arms of the municipality of Zedlitz is based on elements that are found on old seals of the four villages of the municipality: The wheat ears come from the seals of the places Seifersdorf and Sirbis. The wolf is taken from the seal of the wolf's companion, the fox from the seal of Zedlitz. The formation of the elements symbolizes the position of the villages in the so-called Silbergrund region. In the form shown here, the Zedlitz coat of arms was approved on January 17, 1994.
flag
The municipality's flag is yellow - red - yellow (1: 2: 1) striped lengthways and centered with the municipality's coat of arms.
