On May 30, 1999, passenger traffic was stopped, the route has not yet been de-dedicated . Since then, the closest train station has been in Berga / Elster .

Established businesses

A small part of the community area covers the former uranium ore processing plant of the SDAG Wismut. Today the only industrial company is Schrott- und Metall-GmbH , which is located above the former train station.
