Rówienko (German Rowener Vorwerk ) is a very small village in the north-west of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the municipality of Główczyce ( Glowitz ) in the powiat Słupski ( Stolp district ).

Geographical location
The place Rówienko in the Pomeranian Voivodeship is located in the meadow and moorland southwest of Lake Leba (Jeziore Łeba) and can be reached via Voivodeship Road 213 and the villages Rumsko ( Rumbske ) and Równo ( Rowen ). There is no rail connection.
history
As a former Rowener Vorwerk, Rówienko is closely connected to the village of Rowen (now in Polish: Równo) and its history. It is mentioned as early as 1784. Until 1945, the Rowener Vorwerk was a village in the municipality of Rowen, which belonged to the administrative and civil registry district Rumbske (Rumsko) in the district of Stolp in the administrative district of Köslin (Koszalin) in the Prussian province of Pomerania .
The Rowener Vorwerk has been Polish under the name Rówienko since 1945 and is now part of Gmina Główczyce in the Powiat Słupski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (1975 to 1998 Stolp Voivodeship ). The very small place, inhabited by less than twenty people, is incorporated into the Rumsko Schulzenamt .

Until 1945 the people of the Rowener Vorwerk were parish in the Protestant parish of Glowitz (Główczyce) in the church district of Stolp-Altstadt in the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Since 1945, Główczyce has been a branch village of the Kreuzkirche parish in Słupsk ( Stolp ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland . The majority of the residents of Rówienko today are of the Catholic denomination. The parish seat is Główczyce in the newly formed deanery Główczyce, which belongs to the Pelplin diocese of the Catholic Church in Poland .
