Cecenówko (German Neu Zezenow , Kashubian Nowè Cecenowò ) is a very small Kashubian place in the northwest of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . He belongs to the Schulzenamt Cecenowo ( Zezenow ) in the rural community Główczyce ( Glowitz ) in the Powiat Słupski ( Stolp district ).
Cecenówko is located one kilometer southeast of Voivodship Road 213 near Cecenowo. The nearest train station is Wrzeście ( Freest ) on the railway line from Lębork ( Lauenburg in Pomerania ) to Łeba ( Leba ) .
Before 1945, Cecenówko was a village in the municipality of Zezenow in the administrative and civil registry district of Zezenow and belonged to the district of Stolp in the administrative district of Köslin in the Prussian province of Pomerania . As a result, the place is closely related to the history of the community.
After 1945, Neu Zezenow came to Poland as Cecenówko and is now part of Gmina Główczyce in the Powiat Słupski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship . The connection to Cecenow still exists, since Cecenówko is integrated into the Schulzenamt .
Ecclesiastically, Neu Zezenow belonged to the Protestant parish Zezenow in the parish of Stolp-Altstadt in the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .
After 1945 Cecenówko came to the Catholic parish Cecenowo , which is incorporated into the deanery Łeba in the diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland . Protestant church members living here are assigned to the church village Główczyce ( Glowitz ), which is the branch church of the Kreuzkirche parish in Słupsk ( Stolp ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
