Honors

  • Ovation to Micklitz, who has retired from the service, from the state forest staff, written by Chief Forester Ludwig Dimitz:

As we have always been in a tight league, have been
faithful to you for many years,
so we are united today by the farewell's anxious hour
about you once more, who was our guide.
You threw it whole! On a solid foundation of knowledge
lay what you wanted, clear to you from the start
And what you will ever get! - From your mouth
every commandment also presented teaching.
Your whole being, rich in noble features
It gently pulled us all under your spell.
And just as we are given here in the picture,
our heart remains yours too, you rare man,
remains our pride to gloriously strive after you.

  • Knight's Cross of the Order of Leopold , awarded at the end of 1884 in the highest recognition of His Majesty the Emperor Franz Joseph I.
