Royal League 2004/05
The 2004/05 Royal League was the first season of the newly created football competition for club teams and took place between November 11, 2004 and May 26, 2005. The winner was FC Copenhagen from Denmark, who prevailed in the final with 12:11 on penalties against IFK Gothenburg from Sweden.

The twelve teams, four each from the Danish Superliga , the Norwegian Tippeligaen and the Swedish Fotbollsallsvenskan , initially competed in three groups with a return game, the two best teams in each group qualified for a second group stage, in the two groups the two finalists were determined with three clubs each. In the final, the playing time was set at 90 minutes and, in the event of a tie, no extra time was played, but the penalty shoot-out.

All prize money is in Norwegian kroner .
