Terje Hauge (born October 5, 1965 in Bergen ) is a Norwegian football referee and directs national and international matches.

career

In 1990 Hauge started his career at the Norwegian club Olsvik IL and was accepted into FIFA just three years later . In 2000 he was the fourth referee to witness the European Championship . Two years later he took part in the World Cup in Japan and South Korea . At the European Championships in 2004 he was also part of the game. In 2006, surprisingly, he did not take part in the FIFA World Cup in Germany.

In 2004 he received the Kniksen Award for the best referee in Norway.

On August 27, 2004, he led the game in the UEFA Super Cup between FC Porto and FC Valencia . Hauge's greatest career highlight came in 2006 when he was allowed to lead the Champions League final between FC Barcelona and Arsenal London . He referred the German goalkeeper Jens Lehmann because of an emergency brake on the field.

Hauge is a family man and works full-time in the health department .
