Claus Bo Larsen (born October 28, 1965 in Odense ) is a Danish football referee .

Life

Larsen is a customs manager , married and lives in his hometown.

Soccer

Larsen was a FIFA referee. He took part in the Olympic Games in Athens and the 2005 U20 World Cup in the Netherlands. In qualifying for the 2006 World Cup , he was in charge of the relegation first leg between Uruguay and Australia . He was one of the 44 referees preselected by FIFA for the 2006 World Cup.

In the UEFA Champions League he headed three games in 2005/2006, including two for Werder Bremen (against RSC Anderlecht and against FC Barcelona ). In 2008/09 he led the semi-final first leg Manchester United against Arsenal FC .
