The Hong Kong National Rugby Union team represents Hong Kong in the sport of rugby union . She belongs to the third tier and has not yet participated in any world championships.
Hong Kong is considered to have the strongest national rugby union teams in Asia after Japan. Since 2008 the team has been participating in the newly created Asian Five Nations , the unofficial Asian Championships. Because of Hong Kong's history as a colony of the United Kingdom , many of the team's players are still of British origin.
