Sawallja

Savallja ( Ukrainian Завалля ; Russian Завалье Sawalje ) is an urban-type settlement in the western part of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kirovohrad with around 4600 inhabitants (2019).

Sawallja was founded in 1462, has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1957 and is the only village in the settlement council of the same name.

Sawallja located in Rajon Haivoron on the shores of the Southern Bug on the border to Odessa 27 km southeast of Rajonzentrum Haivoron and about 200 km west of the Oblastzentrum Kropywnyzkyj .
