Schivenoglia is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1132 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Mantua in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 27 kilometers southeast of Mantua and a few kilometers south of the Po .

history

The place is mentioned for the first time in a document from the time between 1205 and 1210. Until 1816, the present municipality belonged to the neighboring municipality of Revere (since 2018 fraction of the municipality Borgo Mantovano ).
