Sustenten is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2048 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Mantua in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 19.5 kilometers southeast of Mantua on the Po in the Parco regional del Mincio and borders directly on the province of Verona ( Veneto ) near the confluence of the Po with the Mincio .
