geography
Gonzaga is located near Mantua at an altitude of 22 meters above sea level. The municipality covers an area of 49.89 km² . Districts ( frazioni ) Gonzagas are Palidano and Bondeno. The neighboring municipalities are Luzzara , Moglia , Pegognaga , Reggiolo and Suzzara ; the municipality borders on the province of Reggio Emilia .
