San Giacomo delle Segnate is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1520 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Mantua in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 25 kilometers southeast of Mantua and borders the province of Modena ( Emilia-Romagna ).

history

The Villa Arrigona was built between 1613 and 1622. The 2012 earthquake in Emilia-Romagna affected the municipality.
