Seville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Volusia County in the US state of Florida with 614 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Seville is about 35 km north of DeLand and about 90 km north of Orlando . The CDP is crossed by US Highway 17 ( SR 15 ).

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 614 inhabitants at that time were distributed among 146 households. 56.8% of the population identified themselves as whites, 24.1% as African American , 1.1% as Indians and 0.3% as Asian Americans . 16.4% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.1% to several ethnic groups. 26.9% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 38.5% of all households and people aged 65 or over lived in 37.5% of all households. 76.0% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 3.07 people and the average family size was 3.57 people.

32.6% of the population were younger than 20 years old, 20.9% were 20 to 39 years old, 23.4% were 40 to 59 years old, and 23.2% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 38 years. 48.4% of the population were male and 51.6% were female.

The median annual income was $ 35,156, with 6.7% of the population living below the poverty line.
