West DeLand is a census-designated place (CDP) in Volusia County in the US state of Florida with 3535 inhabitants (as of 2010).

West DeLand borders directly on the city of DeLand to the east and is about 40 km north of Orlando . Florida State Roads 15A and 44 cross or touch the CDP .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 3535 inhabitants were distributed over 1439 households. The population density was 579.5 inh / km². 84.9% of the population identified themselves as whites, 7.0% as African American , 0.3% as Indians and 0.8% as Asian Americans . 4.3% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.6% to several ethnic groups. 12.2% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
